With the development of technology, overconsumption and inadequate waste emissions have a considerable impact on the air, water, forests and wildlife, leading to inevitable damage. to human life. This essay will provide an overview of the sources as well as negative impacts of air and water pollution on humans in three cities, Bangkok, Dhaka and Mexico, and will also discuss governments' strategies and effectiveness for solve environmental problems. Bangkok and Mexico have been trapped in air pollution for decades. Moreover, Dhaka has suffered not only from air pollution but also from water pollution. Subsequently, serious health problems arose. In Bangkok, due to the increasing number of motor vehicles, continuous emissions cause a sharp decline in air quality, which creates negative impacts on residents' daily lives. In Mexico, according to Yip, M and Madl, P(2002), the main source of air pollution is also vehicle exhaust which contains several toxic substances such as ozone, nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide. carbon. These chemicals can cause respiratory illnesses and even lung cancer. In Dhaka, according to the World Health Organization's analysis of Bangladesh, water pollution may be another problem due to "lack of alternative drinking water supply." Arsenic contamination of groundwater is mainly caused by the use of hazardous chemicals and radioactive materials in industry, leading to risks to human health. As mentioned above, vehicle exhausts are the main sources of air pollution in Bangkok and Mexico, while water pollution in Dhaka mainly results from groundwater contamination by arsenic. Toxic substances present in air and water affect human health and quality of life. Faci...... middle of article ......be the most effective strategies to improve the environment.
