    CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE DISCUSSIONThe results obtained reveal that the majority of students are aware of the term information overload, but male students are more aware of the phenomenon and believe that search engines act as a source of information, more than students. It was further found that female students experience information overload more mildly than male students. This could be because students are immature enough to cope with the demands of navigating information. It is possible that respondents are suffering due to poor input, or failure to understand the information, etc. Finally, it can be concluded that large-scale students suffer from the majority of dimensions of psychological indicators considered in this exploratory research study. This result supports the idea of ​​Dr. Dawid Lewis (British psychologist) of the International Stress Management Association that the bombardment of data to which an individual is exposed has psychological effects. In the demographic analysis, other indicators could be introduced to broaden this study. • Physical indicators could also be included in future research to study the effects of information overload. • Different socio-economic indicators could be included in the study. • This research can be further refined for a non-academic context to study how people in certain professions experience information overload and what factors contribute to their feelings of overload.
