I took this photo in an empty field surrounded by buildings in New Rochelle, New York, where my family and I lived. At that time I was really religious and followed the commandments. Red was my favorite color. I wore a red dragon shirt with black pants, my signature black lipsticks, a ponytail and bangs which I wore daily. I thought I was too skinny at the time and I loved piercings. I had three holes in one ear and four in the other. I thought I was unique with my black lipstick. I felt like I was making a lot of money compared to other teenagers my age who were making minimum wage. I was a very serious teenager about school, work, being part of a team and I was always active.
