We all have many different routes we want to take after high school. We can all choose what we want to do with our lives. Some choose to start working, go to college, or even travel. As for me, I chose to go to university. At first, I didn't even consider going to college. Overtime, I was encouraged by my parents and students. That’s when I knew it was something I wanted to do. Although many people think that college is a waste of money, college can help you find a good job, secure your future, be open to new opportunities and you can even meet friends for the life.A lot of people don't want to go there. college because it's expensive. They think it's just a waste of money. They don't realize that it's more of an investment. A college education costs less than the average new car. A family friend got a new car and is having trouble paying the bill. With that money, she could have gone to college and, in a few years, gotten an even better car. You may be spending all that money on school, but when you finish and get a job, you'll get all that money back and then some. Even if you don't have funds, there are still financial aid and scholarships that can help you. College gives you the opportunity to find a great job and career you love. People with a college degree earn 74% more than people with just a high school diploma. The annual income of a college graduate is almost twice that of someone with just a high school diploma. My father always encourages me and says that going to college will help me find a good, stable job and I won't have problems with money and bills.
