  • Essay / The Extinction of the Fin Whale - 961

Animals are a blessing from God. They are seen in different types, shapes and weights in their own category. Among marine animals, we mainly find mammals which are found in large numbers. The fin whale is one of these mammals present in marine life. This type of whale is found in all types of oceans and is a suborder of baleen whales. The fin whale is a very heavy whale. Its weight is estimated between 74 and 75 tonnes. The weight is not only the only feature but its length is also very interesting. The fin whale is said to be the second longest animal in the world in terms of length as a fish. A fin whale is a beautiful creation of God. Its body is in brown-gray tones and looks very interesting with a pale and soft feel. The softness of his body makes him more interesting. The fin whale swims in all types of water, whether tropical or polar. It is generally not found in areas far from the open water part of the ocean. Many fin whales can be seen near fresh water areas. The fin whale's diet consists of small schools of fish and krill. The fin whale is not a commonly observed whale. It is a rare species and considered a target for hunters according to a report from the International Whaling Commission (IWC). The fin whale has been hunted in large numbers over the past century. The species is largely illegally hunted, which has resulted in the genocide of large numbers of people. In 1906, there were 752,000 fin whales in the region but today there are only 32,000 left! This is the result of unfair hunting and genocide of this rare type of whale. The Conservation of Migratory Species of Wildlife (CMS) is an authority that oversees all matters of conservation and care of whales and other...... middle of paper. .....animal rights and conservation. The Whale Commission is also one of the associations that can help resolve this problem. We must understand the seriousness of the problem and ensure that the genocide and massacre of whales by hunters is stopped by all possible means. (nd).
