My father works as a psychologist in a mental health facility while my mother works at a large high school as a mathematics teacher. I grew up with two other children, a brother and a sister. Despite the age difference, my brother is older and my sister is younger despite that. We all got along really well growing up. I am now 22 years old. Educational background I have always loved education, ever since I was a young child. During my high school years, I was never a popular kid. I spent most of my days in the school library. In which the school librarian allowed me to take as many books as I wanted. She was a nice librarian. However, all she did was change the school rules for me, because she knew I loved reading. I have been strong academically throughout my years in secondary education. I never held a class that many of my classmates were in. I have studied hard since I was 12 years old until now. My specialty is English literature. I can also speak and read German fluently. Interests and part-time job So, I also enjoy writing in German. I don't study German literature. Paying myself back in German literature is just a way for me to escape for a moment from the nature of reality. It's my way of relaxing because other people like to watch the X Factor and Netflix. Today I work part time as a waiter at Thank God it's Friday. I don't like this job, but it allows me to complete my university studies more efficiently. My day generally consists of 3 hours of service at TGI on Fridays, then 5 hours of classes spread throughout the afternoon. I love learning something new every day.Aspire to become a teacherMy goal in the future is to become a teacher of English literature. My mother, who was the main influence for me to become a teacher. I considered becoming a mental health psychologist. However, many stories dissuaded me from this idea.First lesson in teaching practiceIn my experience, I have taught elementary classes. The first took place at Miami Elementary School. It was class 4B and they were eager to learn the required learning materials. The behavior was wonderful. The first thing I taught them was their schedules. What I did was create a song for them – even though I brought my guitar on my first day. I played the schedule song on my guitar and sang it to them. Afterwards, I gave them a little quiz about their schedules. Many of them scored around 50%. The second thing was work.
