  • Essay / The Controversial Fake Moon Landing Video

In my ninth grade astronomy class, my teacher explained his views on the moon landing, which made me doubt the moon landing every days since. He is so sure that the moon landing never happened. Having a teacher who is interested in all things space and doubtful about the moon landing really put this conspiracy theory into perspective. Many of my other teachers also thought the moon landing was a hoax. I found some very interesting videos online about the moon landing. One of the videos is from a daily morning show on YouTube called Good Mythical Morning. The two hosts discussed facts that could simulate the moon landing. The video is called “Did We Really Land on the Moon?” » The topic discussed that seems the most logical is the fact that the United States simply wanted to beat Russia. Landing on the Moon was the way to win the space race against Russia. They also explained that there were no stars in many photos, the flag was flying, and in some photos there was the same background. They point to facts to support the fact that we have indeed landed on the moon. The second video is from a lesser-known YouTuber, but it still contains some fascinating information. The video is titled “NASA Moon Landing…Fake or Fact….2015”. This video proved more reasons why we didn't land on the moon. Some facts are that when the astronauts walked on the moon, the video was made in slow motion. Additionally, the land in the window was fully simulated with perspectives and light manipulations. What's very interesting is that Neil Armstrong never gave an on-camera interview. You would think that someone so famous would tell his story over and over again to the world, but he didn't. These facts are very convincing and can change a person's mindset. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on “Why Violent Video Games Should Not Be Banned”? Get an original essay The tone of the first video was more for comedic purposes. It wasn't about convincing you one way or another. The animators just wanted to share another side of a story that we all had a certain stance on. They were also trying not to be biased so as not to upset any of their viewers. The second video was definitely trying to persuade you to think the moon landing was faked. The video gives no other facts to support NASA's claim that we have indeed landed on the Moon. This is a good video to support the conspiracy theory. The government knows that if they were caught lying about the moon landing, the American people would never trust or support them for long. They took a big risk in hoping to defeat Russia. Additionally, at this time, President Kennedy must have also played a role in this matter. He knew that when he said, "We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do other things, not because they are easy, but because they are difficult," that it made really pressure for NASA. The government had to pay a lot of money to people, like the three astronauts, to keep them alone. Something probably had to happen that isn't legal to make the fake moon landing happen. The government probably also threatened people with their lives if anything about the moon landing was revealed. For the future of America, I hope the moon landing was never faked, because all hell would break loose. Keep in mind.
