Global Warming Global warming is having a negative effect on the entire planet and we all need to do something to stop it. The climate changes frequently, making the planet warmer in some regions and colder in others. Two factors affect global warming. The first types of factors are natural factors such as changes in solar production, changes in Earth's orbit, the greenhouse effect and aerosols. The change in solar output means that the amount of energy radiated by Earth's sun is not constant. The change in our planet's orbit affects where solar energy is received on earth. Thus affecting the amount of energy reflected and absorbed on earth. Aerosols help protect us from the effects of global warming and that's why they are sometimes called global sunscreen. Aerosols cool the earth by reflecting sunlight. With fewer aerosols, the effects of global warming will be felt more.
