In America today, there are various careers and opportunities available, especially in educational departments. Being a teacher is an influential and challenging job that will help influence the lives of individuals. This quarry dates back to ancient Greek and Roman cultures (561 BC). This research will clarify information on the history, qualifications, requirements, thoughts and position of teachers. Choosing the teaching profession comes from a desire to express/generate ideas, teach children the skills needed to take tests, and lead America's schools to success. Being a teacher does not depend on tangible attributes like money or the process of creating lesson plans, but rather on being a highly influential person full of courage and commitment. A teacher is a person who provides children with the basic concepts needed for the future. The history of education goes back many generations and cultures. Priests and prophets taught children the skills needed to become future business leaders and entrepreneurs. Did you know that Confucius (561 BC) was the first private history teacher? Confucius was a young child full of pride and ambition, but he had no way of expressing his qualities. Confucius began teaching students who were eager to learn. Throughout his teachings, he taught the importance of responsibility and moral character. Education in America took place in the 1600s with the landing of the Pilgrims. The first public school was established in 1635, “Americans considered education an essential part of the young country” (Riter 23). Our nation faces a difficult challenge in building a pipeline of well-trained teachers. No one is complaining that teachers are a vital part of our future... middle of document......
