Did Brutus kill his beloved friend, Julius Caesar, in cold blood? Or was it justifiable homicide? These questions remain unanswered in the minds of many. However, upon further investigation, it becomes clear that there was no valid reason for the murder of Julius Caesar. Is there really any justification for murder, let alone the assassination of a courageous, fearless and selfless leader? What kind of person would murder a dear friend, regardless of said friend's faults? Although there were other people involved, Brutus was the key element in the assassination of Julius Caesar; he is guilty of first degree premeditated murder! There are many ways to prove that Brutus is guilty of premeditated murder. There are, however, three glaring signs that have become extremely difficult to ignore. The reasons given by the conspirators to justify the murder rang false. Brutus was Julius's supposed friend, but he killed him in cold blood.
