  • Essay / Traditional Row Gardening - 779

There are many popular gardening methods, two of them are the raised bed approach and traditional row gardening. A raised bed is usually where a frame of any shape or size is constructed and filled with fertilizer of one's choice, raising the garden above ground level. Row cropping resembles the typical farming scene where there are rows of crops arranged in long straight lines and walking space between each row. Each gardening and growing method has its advantages and disadvantages. After comparing and reviewing the evidence, it will be simple to say which one is better to use based on the desired outcome. Even if we don't spend money on buying a frame or a floor, we spend a lot on maintenance, water, etc. This concludes the comparison of two effective cultivation techniques. After evidence, it is clear that raised beds work much better for typical gardening, which is why they continually claim more favor, the only case in which the use of rows is necessary is for planting on large plots of land to grow food in bulk. Although raised beds are becoming more widely used, there are still loyal followers of traditional row planting. Both methods, however, have their advantages and disadvantages and each is a wise process to choose when planting a garden...
