Malcolm it doesn't matter who says it. I am for justice, no matter for whom or against. (Malcolm Malcolm X was at a great disadvantage throughout his life. He was mistreated by the white population of Lansing, Michigan; her family was the only African American to attend the local schools. Malcolm X was shunned and often excluded from opportunity throughout his life. This made him vulnerable, as a young person, to logical ideologies. Since he was little, he was never satisfied with the status quo, it was his hopes and ambitions that drove him to seek the truth. Malcolm Little was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 19, 1925. Malcolm was born into a family of 3. children. His parents were Earl, a UNIA member, and Louise, a house builder, Little. Shortly after his birth, Malcolm and his family moved to East Lansing, Michigan. Four years after Malcom's family moved to Lansing, Malcolm's family home was burned down by a most racist mob. When city emergency responders arrived, they refused to do anything to prevent the house from burning. “The white police and firemen came and watched the house burn to the ground” (Malcolm X). Malcolm's family was forced to move again this time two miles from Lansing, Michigan, but this sparked more harassment from locals. A local police department appeared at their front door several times looking for a small gun that Earl Little was supposed to fire at the most racist mob as they set fire to the Little house. He began to criticize the mainstream civil rights movement; he challenged Martin Luther King Jr.'s nonviolence and civil disobedience. Malcolm X began to suggest that the risks were not limited to voting and restaurants (Carson, Clayborne). Malcolm X advised his followers to defend themselves “by any means necessary” (Lawrence A., Mamiya). Malcolm Malcolm X was a product of his environment, every event of his life directed by his hopes and ambitions in truth. Malcolm X found the truth in a world living without hatred towards another man because he is different. Although his ambitions led him to the truth, his hopes were not as successful. Malcolm X was assassinated on February 21, 1965 by a member of the Nation of Islam.
