Implementing an effective educational program establishes a classroom environment of trust and respect, helps influence healthy behaviors and attitudes, providing young people with the tools necessary to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society. An equitable formula is essential to the development of future generations of healthy learners. My commitment to facilitating a program suitable for all learners is important. Although I aspire to be an excellent supervisor, I will first and foremost strive to be a better support resource for staff. The supervisor has the qualifications and understanding of effective curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices, but the most essential and valuable role of the instructional supervisor is to provide direct assistance to teachers to ensure the student learning for a successful school. Across schools, I had the opportunity to work in successful ones, with principals providing direct assistance to their staff through mentor teachers, master teachers, team leaders and coaching specialists. These are the principles I remember most and hope to become in my quest for the future.
