First, lying corrupts the most important quality of a human being, such as their ability to make free and rational choices. When we lie to someone, we distort scenarios and facts. People make moral and rational decisions based on what they are told. When someone is told something that they don't know is a lie, that individual always makes a moral decision based on it. This moral decision may not actually be the right moral decision in the situation because the truth has not been made public. Every lie someone tells contradicts the part of another that gives it moral value. This means that even if someone thinks they are making a moral decision, this is contradicted by the fact that the moral decision was made based on the facts of a lie that it was
