  • Essay / Advantages and Disadvantages of Object Orientation...

During the analysis phase, a set of objectives is needed in the domain. From there, three perspectives are retained: the object model of Ronald LeRoi Burback (1998) states “a dynamic model and a functional model”. The object model represents the artifacts of the system. The dynamic model represents the interaction between these artifacts represented as events, states and transitions. The functional model represents the system methods from a data flow perspective. After the analysis phase, the system design phase takes place. Here the system is subcategorized and tasks assigned and persistent data storage is established, also during this phase the architecture is formed. Finally, the object design phase begins and this is where the implementation plan is established and the algorithms and object classes are also
