Robert Frost deliberated on an intention and was determined to carry it through by any means possible. He verbalized his feelings through walls and blocks, descriptive words, seasons and nature. The aspiration of the walls in this room is to block out neighbors and create a better relationship. Descriptive words are used to describe an enhanced visual of what one is designed to see. Robert Frost talks about the seasons as if he were a human. Walls are blocks used to isolate a human being's desires and feelings. Privacy should be respected by all, even if none of the neighbors intended to be offensive. The speaker's logic was that the wall blocking properties was absurd. The essential purpose of the poem is the desire of one neighbor to have better relations with the other neighbor. There was a wall blocking everything; houses, yards and properties. The wall wasn't really a wall. Considered a fence in the eyes of some and a colossal barricade in others. The speaker of the poem thought the wall was senseless and unnecessary.
