    Throughout our lives we have experienced dream activity, but have we ever wondered if there is a hidden meaning behind it? We fall asleep, then dream, then wake up without even remembering the smallest parts of our dreams. After a while, we seem to accept it as a normal thing and not think about it further. Dreams can be mysterious, even frightening, because they can change suddenly with unusual elements, but understanding the meaning of our dreams can be very enlightening. As the famous psychologist Sigmund Freud stated that dreams are a representation of unconscious desires, thoughts, emotions, actions and motivations. I believe that dreams are a path to the unconscious and a way of discovering oneself. Not only do we dream of fulfilling a wish, but also of solving problems more effectively in our daily lives. One of the meanings we can interpret from dreams is the discovery of true personal thoughts, emotions and desires. As mentioned previously, Sigmund Freud suggests in his book The Interpretation of Dreams that he believes that the content of a dream has been disguised as the dreamer's unconscious wishes. No matter what kind or type of dream we have, it can be seen as a way to get something you want.
