    Actively involving students in cognitive work that is sufficiently challenging but not overwhelming has been shown to reduce problem behaviors (Heward, 2003; DeJong, 2005). During my university studies in 'Classroom and Behavior Management' (LCP410), I developed a comprehensive 'Classroom Management Support Plan', which included my five key principles, preventive level support and managing low-level and high-level behaviors. My five key principles that inform my classroom management practice explain my commitment to creating a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment.
