  • Essay / Why is it important to learn about the Holocaust?

The study of the Holocaust is very important, there are many different categories within this subject that you can divide it into. Hitler's rise to power, the Holocaust itself, World War II, Anne Frank, and why it's important to learn about the Holocaust. These are very broad topics in this subject, these are important things to talk about. The Holocaust caused much confusion during this period. Hitler was superb at convincing people to believe everything he said. He promised the people a roast in every pot, security and many other things. By promising people safety, it meant that he would keep them all safe and that he could do a better job than anyone else. Adolf Hitler received increased support from bankers and industrialists. So pretty much he had most of the people who had higher power during that time on his side. When the American stock market crashed in October 1929, unemployment in Germany quickly rose to more than six million. This opened another window for Hitler to get more people who thought they had nothing and their lives were over to side with him. President Hindenburg did not want Hitler to become chancellor, so he appointed Von Pappen, but Adolf Hitler did not agree, nor did the Nazis. Hitler finally became chancellor on January 30, 1933. Hitler then banned all political parties. In 1934, the president died and Adolf Hitler came to power. Now that he's president, he can change whatever he wants. The Holocaust in general was a very terrible time. There have been many horrible misunderstandings during this period. I think these people were brainwashed and had no one better to look up to, so they followed what he said. Hitler lied to them until the middle of the diary...she and Margot Frank were killed by disease. Anne and Margot Frank died just weeks before being freed by the Amenuens. Anne Frank died when she was 15 years old. Some people often wonder why this is important, because it helps inform some people how terrible it was during this time. Also, when we are informed of this delay. Plus, when we are informed about this time, it helps ensure that something this crazy doesn't happen again. These people who were killed looked a lot like us. They still wanted to live their lives and not have to worry about being judged so badly by people that they would be killed. This could easily have happened to innocent people in the United States. It is also important that we are not racist and do not go against the beliefs of others. The Holocaust was a horrible time..
