Essay / Uniforms for High School Uniforms - 725
Imagine a high school student tormented by what he wears, and it doesn't happen just once, but it happens frequently. You see him get angry, let his head face the ground, and somewhere inside you feel the same pain as him. High school students make rude comments about their classmates' clothing, whether it's a scarf, jacket or socks; they always have something to say. What better way to remedy this situation than to organize uniforms for high school students? The idea of uniforms should be strongly considered in order to allow students to feel more confident at school. They get so caught up in thinking “I have to wear this” or “No one wears that anymore” that they forget to be themselves; they forget who they really are. They become stressed; they become anxious about something that shouldn't have such importance in their lives. Providing uniforms to high school students will reduce the stress and anxiety that has built up in the student body. Not o...... middle of paper ...... rents a low amount of two hundred and forty-nine dollars. The clothes are durable and can be worn for a long time. Students get upset when they are judged on how they dress, so why not simplify things and provide uniforms? Worrying about how they dress is a huge distraction during school for students. Placing importance on your appearance puts stress on your body, and that's not the right path for a student trying to succeed in school. There is a slightly high percentage of the number of schools that require uniforms, which brings a sense of unity among students. We need to take charge in this situation and make school a safer environment for students. You can never argue with the fact that schools need to let their students know that this is a safe place, and providing uniforms is a great way to start. Take the challenge, the uniform challenge.
