Essay / The Electronic Cigarette Marketing Plan - 1750
A cigarette, briefly called a cigar, could simply be thought of as a roll of dry tobacco leaves wrapped in paper and cut smoothly. Finely cut dry tobacco leaves are rolled to make a cylinder-shaped pipe which is used for smoking. A cigarette is light on one end while the other end is placed in the smoker's mouth for inhaling. Most cigarettes have a filter on one end. Cigarettes can be made either from tobacco, as previously stated, or from cloves or cannabis. Normally, a cigarette is smaller than a cigar. Cigarette consumption dates back to the beginning of the 19th century in Central America. Cigarettes came in the form of reeds and smoking tubes. People like the Mayans and Aztecs could smoke during religious rituals. Among Mexicans, Caribbeans, and Central and South Americans, smoking took the form of cigarettes and cigars. Different plant husks were used in Central and South America to roll cigarettes, while in Spain corn husks were used. The cigarette is believed to have arrived in France in 1830 and that is where it gained its name cigarette. It was only after the Crimean War that cigarette smoking gained popularity in English-speaking countries. Generally speaking, the widespread use of cigarettes could be largely attributed to the 20th century in the Western world. More recently, a new form of cigarette has been introduced to the market. The electronic cigarette or e-cigarette is a new form of cigarette with sensations. The electronic cigarette is an electrical device that produces an inhaled mist that encourages smoking tobacco. The electronic cigarette has the physical feel, appearance and flavor of a tobacco cigarette. The nicotine content is also believed to be equal to that of a tobacco cigarette.
