There has been a growing movement of advocates who want to take this concept and apply it to video games, a gamification of education. All this would really imply is that formal educational institutions must engage students through the use of games and design elements from those games. The theoretical simplicity of this goal does not mean that it should be considered easy or unnecessary. Schools are currently facing a crisis in which students are struggling to engage in school; An engagement problem is not just limited to schools, it is an issue that concerns society as a whole. As a society, too much time and effort has been spent on making recreational activities, our games, more engaging and fun as real-life activities have grown with an increasingly negative connotation. Work is boring, frustrating, and something that should be left aside in favor of play. If refreshing your social media wall is more engaging than school or work, then something is wrong. The goal of gamification, and indeed of all work and education institutes, should be that all work is play and all play enriches our lives. This should be the purpose behind
