We have students who talk back to teachers or even hit them, parents who yell and try (and sometimes succeed) to get their way, and administrators caught in legal problems and overwhelmed. This leaves teachers on their own to handle more and more things. It's not really surprising how many educators choose to leave the profession to get more money and more respect in other fields. However, this exodus leaves those who remain even more stressed, as new teachers are increasingly difficult to find, train and retain. Administrators are always overwhelmed and have to juggle even more issues, like where to place all the students you have with the handful of teachers.
