Essay / Analysis of Proverbs from Hell by William Blake - 725
It's like Victor when he feels sorry for himself for creating this monstrosity that killed his friends and family. This quote also shows her desire to destroy her creation and how she breaks him down like a piece of dead meat from the inside out. The reader can notice this right after creating his monster and also after the monster kills all of Victor's friends and family. After Victor creates the monster, he is in a state of denial where he judges what he did because it goes beyond the laws of nature. Victor tends to be like a bipolar person in that he moves towards a goal and then is depressed for days and days. The reader may begin to feel sorry for Frankenstein, but Frankenstein brought it upon himself because he chose to create something beyond the natural way of things. This is why people should use each other, especially when it comes to scientific experiments, because others cannot stop you from doing something that is ethical and moral.
