Traditional public schools and charter schools are very different in almost everything. Traditional public schools are larger than charter schools, and most students come from low-income families. One major difference is that charter schools develop their own curriculum. On the other hand, public schools teach students specific material that the government assigns to them. In other words, charter schools have more freedom to do what they want. I learned that traditional public schools must meet certain requirements in order to be founded. On the other hand, charter schools receive additional funding from other places. After doing this research, it is clearer to see the differences between the two schools. For some reason, I would like to teach in a public school rather than a charter school. I think it's because I did all my schooling in a public school and I'm used to that system.
