Culinary/Cooking Classes: Who: We offer cooking classes for those who want to learn more cooking skills and get some tips. As at the Shaw Festival, we will also have several volunteers to help our guests. What: We offer a 45-minute cooking class with our chefs, for guests aged fifteen and over. We do it primarily in groups, unlike what is offered at Falls View Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario, where theirs is primarily one-on-one. We can offer this to you if that is what you prefer, at an additional cost. With our best chefs, we will cook mainly Canadian cuisine. Additionally, as most people know, most Canadian dishes did not originate in Canada, but were imported from other cultures and countries. During this course, our chefs will teach you a little history about the food, as well as some additional knowledge that can be used for interesting table conversation when you prepare this at home. When: We will have 8 classes per day, all year round. They will mainly do this by reservation, but if there is space, a reservation is also possible. Why: We offer this to those who want to become chefs or just better cooks but don't know how to fully get their food to the next one. level. Questions about other types of meals can be asked and our chef will do his best to answer all your questions according to your expectations. Additionally, for those interested in seeing the two shows we will be offering in our Botanical Theater, this will give guests something to do, to pass the time while they wait. Where: These classes will be located when you enter the hallway. and to your left. Like at Niagara College VEC, there is an information desk right upon arrival to assist you if necessary. We have a place...... middle of paper ......e of bricks of different sizes with a gazebo on top. Since the gazebo is just wooden pillars, the sun can always be enjoyed whenever you go out. A bird feeder and hundreds of surrounding flowers, and once off the path it opens up to flowers on either side. A twelve-foot brick wall will surround the entrance garden, eliminating noise to make you feel like the city has disappeared. Also, at the very bottom you will see a scene with some artifacts around today's room. In front, well-cut grass can accommodate ninety-five to one hundred and fifteen guests. During rainy days our employees will be aware of the forecast and so with our bricks they will connect a giant tent to each wall to keep the rain out and thus our guests who have purchased tickets will still be able to enjoy their evening of theater..
