    LITERATURE REVIEWIndia is a vast developing country in the world and people of many different communities and religions live together in unity. Tribal study is not new in today's research world. Many studies have already been carried out on this subject. Many scholars have paid attention to it and contributed a lot to the field of tribal studies. Most researchers have studied the indigenous characteristics of the tribes, especially their cultures before independence. They highlighted the fact that tribal people were kept away from the mainstream of society. But after independence, a number of Indian scholars became involved in the study of tribal issues. They used modern methods and approaches for research. This research revealed the realities of tribal life and the truths and facts relating to their insecure lives. The very aim of this review study is to gain a comprehensive and broad knowledge of the influence of media on tribal political participation with special reference to the Paniyas community. This review will also help the author to better understand the contributions of the ideas of previous researchers who have studied tribes in general and the Paniya tribe in particular.
