    Kenya is a country located on the east coast of Africa, along the equator, between Somalia and Tanzania and bordered by the Indian Ocean. Its geographic coordinates are 1,000 N, 38,00 E. It has a total of 580,367 square meters (slightly larger than France) with 569,140 square meters of land and the rest, 11,227 square meters, is water . Kenya is a territory delimited by five countries, Uganda (933 kilometers), Ethiopia (861 kilometers), Tanzania (769 kilometers), Somalia (682 kilometers) and Sudan (232 kilometers), a total of 3,477 kilometers. Kenya also borders 536 kilometers of the Indian Ocean. In total, the territory is therefore delimited by 4,013 kilometers of sea and land.
