They played at school with friends and when they came home, they played at school, they played on their gadgets. They were never allowed to go to Lincoln Terrence Park, this park is huge, it has a field, basketball court, netball court, handball court, children's play area and walking path . This park is not well maintained, there is constant trash, it smells like urinals and on the benches near the walking path there are traces of used condoms. Such things cannot be safe for children to play freely or for their parents to be okay with them playing in an environment like that. One Saturday morning my friend and I were on our way to work and decided to take an alternate route and saw an older man in the park taking a poop. Neighborhood residents need to take better care of this park, even as they come together to improve the park and make it a better play space for generations.
