  • Essay / Reflection on unexamined life is not worth living

    I believe that if you have a life that is recognized by others, you have taken the full opportunity to live and have made an impact the society you are part of. of. This impact can be seen as positive or negative, but it still leaves some form of impression. There are many ways to think about how one might impact society. For me, this could be possible by observing how your society operates and seeing what the purpose of this livelihood is. I feel like a lot of people go through life following the normal routines of sociocultural norms and spend their time doing something that doesn't interest them personally. This brings us back to Socrates accepting death rather than imprisonment or exile, because there is no self. -target one or other of these sanctions. This can be observed in many societies today, including the United States. Many people give up on their dreams to live a more practical life. In my opinion, Socrates would be disappointed by some members of today's generation who do not take the time to devote themselves to their aspirations. Humans today seem to be losing much of the pioneering aspect of their personality. My general point of view is that young people are raised to believe that all their dreams are achievable and that they should strive to achieve them.
