This is typically how millennials grab information and news, frequently express their opinion, and share it on the social media world. This new information affects the entire country and the entire world. It can influence/change people's opinions, for good or bad. It often happens that something on social media becomes a trending topic. When this happens, people usually use a hashtag on the topic (eg: #blacklivesmatter), which makes it easier. people can access or follow the movement. Additionally, on Twitter, people retweet information to raise awareness. When something is retweeted, more people have access to what follows because it is shared across multiple pages.
