Tanzania has made great progress in reforming its main roads, thereby improving the quality of the road network. The electricity sector constitutes Tanzania's most threatening problematic infrastructure. Despite improving prices and operational performance, inefficiency still absorbs around 1.4% of GDP. Due to the heavy reliance on hydropower, which accounts for two-thirds of the country's electricity supply. It has climate variability and low water levels. The port of Dar es Salaam also suffers from performance problems as rapid traffic growth has increasingly exposed deficiencies in storage and access to the port. (World Bank). The problem is that bad infrastructure means bad conditions and that would be very expensive to fix. The more anger and sadness, the more the mess will be over.
