Employee satisfaction is undoubtedly the best indicator of employee retention. A work environment consisting of good working relationships generally promotes employee satisfaction. Employees feel motivated because they believe the company values their service and commitment. Job satisfaction translates into employee retention. Employee retention could be defined as the length of time employees stay with the organization. The purpose of this report is to inform management of the importance of employee satisfaction in achieving the organization's competitive objectives by increasing employee retention. Description and ContextBased on preliminary analyzes conducted on job satisfaction and anticipated job retention, it was concluded that the two were not correlated. (Cohen and Cohen, 1983).
