Babies born and unborn destined for heaven? Psalm 58:3 The wicked are strangers from the womb: they go astray from birth, speaking lies. Psalm 58:4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf viper that stops its ear; Psalm 58:5 who does not listen to the voice of charmers, who never charms with so much wisdom. Romans 5:8 But God commends his love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This quote is from CH Spurgeon: I believe there will be more in heaven than in hell. If anyone asks me why I think so, I answer that Christ, in all things, must "have the pre-eminence," and I cannot conceive how He could have the pre-eminence if there were to be more in the areas of Satan than in Paradise. Furthermore, I have never read that there must be a great multitude in hell that no one could number. I rejoice to know that the souls of all children, as soon as they die, move quickly to heaven. Think what a multitude there are! Then there are already in Heaven countless myriads of perfected spirits of righteous men – the redeemed from every nation, and tribe, and people, and tongue until now; and there are better times to come, when the religion of Christ will be universal; when — If Spurgeon is correct and all children born or unborn and up to the age of accountability as some teach go to heaven when they die, then there is much discrepancy to consider in Scripture , including our text! Another quote: If Christ on His cross intended to save every man, then He intended to save those who were lost before He died. If the doctrine is true that He died for all men, then He died for some who were in hell before coming to this world, for without doubt... middle of paper... who matures to adulthood. was he before God put him in his mother's womb! I know that when a baby is born, he is forced to take his first breath AFTER leaving his mother's womb! This first breath is its spirit which comes from God so that the body lives and returns to God when it expires: Ecc 12:7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it . This tells me that body before mind is just a body and maybe, not sure, all those murdered unborn babies aren't living beings until that mind enters them! My conclusion: Spurgeon, you are wrong about babies for the wicked who go astray. from the maternal womb, remain lost, without ever entering into the salvation of the Lord!
