  • Essay / Global threat or no threat - 1457

Since the late 1800s, scientists have studied the phenomenon of global warming and the majority have concluded that human activities are responsible for most of the warming . Human activities contribute to global warming by reinforcing the Earth's natural greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect warms the Earth's surface through a complex process involving sunlight, gases and particles in the atmosphere. Gases that trap heat in the atmosphere are called greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and fluorinated gases. Few scientists claim that the increase in greenhouse gases has not had a measurable effect on the climate. Therefore, the claim that human activities are causing significant global warming is irrational. However, scientists would like to see a clear mirror image of global warming threatening our environment; if you are unsure of what they said. I would like to show you both sides of the mirror. Global warming is an increase in the temperature of the Earth's surface due to greenhouse gases being trapped in the atmosphere. It's as if on a very hot day, the heat remains trapped inside the car. The increase in climate temperature is due to the increase in human activities through the combustion of fossil fuels; the grave environmental threat described by Ross Gelbspan, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author of The Heat Is On: The Climate Crisis. S. Fred Singer, head of the Science and Environmental Policy Project and director of the U.S. Weather Satellite Service, does not disagree with his view that human activities are causing global climate warming. His books include Hot Talk, Cold Science: Global Warming Unfini...... middle of paper ...... technology, energy and the growth of the nation. These authors surely show us different sides of the mirror on global warming. . Gelbspan supports the fight against global warming, where even the slightest increase in greenhouse gases will have a profound effect on the global climate potentially leading to catastrophic events in the future. He also advocates for a solution by reducing harmful gas emissions and switching to environmentally friendly products. While Singer claims that a slight increase in temperature is a natural process and will not lead to significant changes in the climate. Instead, these changes will benefit the growth of agricultural crops. He also argues that not all of the theory is fully understood and that the statistical data established by the IPCC is unreliable. It's a never-ending debate and all we can hope for is that our planet thrives on all its natural resources..
