SummaryThe nonprofit sector is based on two philosophical concepts: voluntarism and market failure economies. Voluntarism is an applied ethics, moral philosophy, and action for the benefit of the public, and the economics of market failure explains the existence of nonprofit organizations. The government simply cannot provide or deliver services to everyone. Nonprofits are everywhere. Wherever there are people, there are nonprofits. Nonprofit or non-profit organizations exist to perform or provide services. Whether provided by a public organization or agency, or by a private organization or agency, they serve a purpose. Government, educational institutions, community organizations, and health care facilities are all examples of nonprofit organizations. They vary greatly in size, some are small neighborhood organizations with only a few employees and little paper...... four functions of nonprofits are extremely important to an organization's survival and future and for the quality of services to be provided by an organization.Bibliography:1.
