Essay / Sex after 50 - 1040
Sex after 50. What is the stigma? Nowadays, people who continue to have sex after 50 are often considered taboo. A question for those who have the opposite attitude on the subject: what is the “socially acceptable” age limit for sexual relations? When does it become inappropriate for two consenting adults to have sex? It seems that the sexual norm acceptable by society's standards is 18 years old and ends at menopause for women, and around 50 years old for men. . The idea of two older people having intimate relationships is kind of an unthinkable thought, but what society doesn't know is that it happens more often than we think. Sex as we know it comes into play in three different categories. Psychological, physiological and social aspect. Psychology is how this happens in the mind and how it affects the mentality. Physiology, or biology, is how it affects the body and physical state. The social aspect is how society perceives it, which can play a major role in the definitive gender roles people play. Culture is a key factor in the social aspect of sex. In America, women are held to the same standards as men, while in the Middle East, women are more submissive to men. As shown in the drawing above, the photo depicts two elderly people, presumed to have been married for a long time. The woman says to the man "These are adult diapers in thongs... I told you I brought sexy..." To which the old man replies "Sweet Angel of Death, if he Please take me now.” The cartoon depicts the woman trying to engage in sexual conquests with her presumed husband in a physical mansion by trying to annoy him biologically. We guess that the older man is physiologically fed up with the middle of the paper......see and simply appreciate the humor that the comic strip brings. In conclusion, E.'s cartoon. Decentis did not adequately present the real world that surrounds today's elderly. It is no longer considered taboo for older people to have sex, just like it is for young people. Once you reach a certain age, it doesn't mean that sex life stops until the day you die. Medical events may occur that make sex more difficult for some, but will not slow them down. The trait of human evolution that requires sex for personal pleasure and entertainment rather than simply to reproduce does not end at age 50, but could potentially make a person over 50 more active. Psychologically, sex for older adults can be beneficial, as well as physiologically in leading a healthier life. After 50, people are not ready to free themselves from death, but rather to enjoy the time they have left.
