  • Essay / New ways of traveling abroad - 1006

Dear Mr. SmithI would like to talk about this program that we have known for many years now, I would like to talk to you about traveling abroad. Going anywhere other than the United States would be an incredible experience. New ways of learning would become available to us once there. You could learn a lot more about the area you decide to go to, expanding on the knowledge you may have had before. Knowing more about a certain area will help you tell people about it. Giving you stories that you can tell all your friends and totally surprise them. The last letter talked about cultural awareness and the importance of learning more about a given place. It is simply useful to know such a large amount of information so that you never get involved in a cultural conflict. Three reasons to implement a system of foreign trips in our school are cuisine, language and their cultural history. Starting with cooking and why it can be something cool to learn, to be able to enjoy a new way of cooking. Eating new foods is always enjoyable but much better if the food is exotic. If I had to go anywhere, it would be central Italy, simply because of all of its exquisite food. I myself would like to become a taste tester of all new foods produced before they are mass produced. Italian cooking methods are by far the best in the world, just in the cooking process alone. Every day a new type of meal is prepared in a restaurant, they just fail to surprise. Learning how to cook all this food and the countless ways to cook it would be cool. Then you could go home and cook for all those friends who think you can't cook. This is the first reason why having such a program in our school would be paper......laces like Russia. To be placed in a country where you know nothing is weird, you can't talk to anyone or order food. Food is an essential commodity, especially if you haven't eaten in hours. Knowing what types of foods may require precautions, such as perhaps eating a puffer fish. You just need to know something about the food in their country because something can be toxic if not cooked properly. The story is just as important to us as it is to them because maybe they have a holiday that you don't know about. Then you'll want to learn more about them in order to find out. Ultimately, this program seems like a lot of fun and seems to help you learn some very interesting things. It never hurts to know too much, only to not know much about something. The last thing which is by far the most important is that it gives students a new program that they can be interested in..
