NYPD Google Glasses is a security measure or a privacy violation. Several clear cases of abuse of authority by police personnel in the past have sowed distrust and rage among the masses. What could add to this furore is the introduction of Google Glasses, which are supposed to be used for public protection, better surveillance and improved police patrols. The New York Police Department's use of Google Glasses still raises serious privacy and confidentiality concerns, as it is seen as a violation of wiretapping law and the Fourth Amendment's protection against unreasonable searches.
