One of the most controversial topics today is the 2nd Amendment. That being said, I chose to write about the "2nd Amendment: The Right to Bear Arms", the reason I chose to write about it is because I am heavily involved in the gun field on fire for many different reasons. I have been handling and using firearms since I was a young boy. I have been outdoors for some time and have also participated in different clay court sports competitions. Having the right to bear arms is very important. For what? Because if you think about it, back when this country was founded, men needed a way to defend themselves and their private property. With everything that has happened in our country in recent years, millions of people actually have the right to bear arms. Why, because sportsmen and collectors fear that the government will try to confiscate their guns. I think this is one of the most complex issues facing America. This is an amendment made since the creation of the country and stemming from English legal tradition. This was written in which all men could own their guns and keep the peace. In the United States, millions of people are against the 2nd Amendment. The right to bear arms was created by our founding fathers of the United States. Over the years, people have purchased millions of different types of firearms, for many different reasons. I want readers to focus on the main points I mentioned. Hunting, target shooting and self-defense are the ones that were chosen. I felt they are the most important to the average person. With everything going on in the middle of paper......or 'You are in danger and there is no one to help you, and in the city there is some sort of law enforcement available . After reading this editorial, I want my readers to be better informed about why people carry guns and why it is important to be part of the 2nd Amendment.
