As a prospective student, you are going to encounter the obstacle of constantly being broke. By purchasing a laptop, you save a lot of money. Laptop prices typically start around $200 and increase depending on the brand you buy and the amount of storage you need. When you buy a laptop with high storage capacity, you're practically buying more storage for free. On the other hand, tablets are very expensive. By purchasing a tablet, you are wasting money that could be used for your books or other college necessities. The price of a tablet depends on how much storage you think you'll need for school. The usual starting price for a 16GB laptop, depending on the brand, is $500. In other words, you're buying more storage for more money, when you should be saving. As I said before, with tablets, additional storage is not necessary.
