  • Essay / The Kennedy Assassination - 1716

The assassination of President John F. Kennedy was one of the greatest shocks to the nation and had a profound impact on all future presidencies. The assassination is a very common topic of discussion because there are thousands of theories about who exactly killed JFK. The prime suspect in the JFK assassination, Lee Harvey Oswald, was killed just days after the assassination of Jack Ruby. That being said, there was never a trial for Oswald. After the assassination, successor President Lyndon B. Johnson created the Warren Commission to investigate the assassination. The Warren Commission concluded that Oswald did in fact kill the president and that he acted alone. Many Americans do not believe the findings of the Warren Commission for no other reason than that there are different possibilities and evidence pointing in different directions. There is strong evidence for and against Oswald's murder of JFK. I believe Oswald killed JFK and would have presented this evidence at trial. The first piece of evidence to be presented at trial was the Zapruder film. This film captures the moments leading up to, during and moments after the assassination. Given that this is the assassination caught on camera, this makes the evidence relevant and material to the case. I would put Mr. Zapruder on the stand to present this evidence and as a lay witness. He would be asked where he was, what he witnessed that day, what type of camera he used and how the evidence was transported and never tampered with. Other witnesses would corroborate by saying that this is what the scene looked like on the day of the assassination. The evidence can be challenged on the grounds that it is truly horrible and will stick in the minds of the jury and cause unfair treatment...... middle of paper ...... I thought that this would require the manufacture of a small entrance and exit, but the bones of the skull are enough to deform the end of this bullet, which causes it to expend a lot of energy and explode the side of the skull or explode fragments of the skull. "Concluding that the C2766 rifle could have caused the damage inflicted on the President's head. In conclusion, it is clear beyond a reasonable doubt that Lee Harvey Oswald committed the unlawful killing of another human being with premeditated malice .Despite whatever directions the American people want to point with the evidence It is clear that Mr. Oswald is the killer, with the evidence from Ballistics, the Zapruder film, the eyewitness accounts and a man who may have been the killer. man closest to Oswald's personal life All the evidence presented in court is more than conclusive for the assassin of President John F. Kennedy on November 22. 1963.
