I will have the chance to explore global health issues, engage in community projects, and discover my individual passion for public health. Through interactive and project-based courses, I will learn how healthcare in Italy affects their local communities. The evolution of my professional career is the direct result of my academic results. They relate to each other and indicate who I am and what I can offer in a professional environment. How I apply what I have learned in my academic life determines my success in my professional life. This program abroad is a motivation to continue to familiarize myself with several areas of health; this therefore means being informed about the different areas of health. This helps make me a competitive candidate for graduate school and the job market. Gaining field experience through the Health Promotion Lab will have a huge impact on my learning experience. Examining educational, environmental and economic supports from work sites, for-profit and non-profit agencies will enrich my experience abroad.
