    Although I have a number of intellectual interests, three of them are particularly obvious: politics, economics, and technology. These interests pique my curiosity while teaching me lessons that will be useful to me in life. Ever since my seventh grade teacher taught me the basics of government, I have always loved politics. Every time an election approaches, I eagerly await new polls and predictions. Of course, no time is more exciting than when real results arrive. Additionally, reading political journalism articles enriched my knowledge in this particular field. My additional knowledge helped me immensely in several of my subjects in high school, including history, government, and economics. For example, many of my classmates had difficulty in our recent class about the United States government. Thanks to my awareness of current politics and the fundamentals of government, I was able to excel in this course while helping many of my peers. My passion for economics is just as fervent.
