ESTELLE: FROM ST. ELIZABETH in CLARK'S TOWN, TRELAWNY Graduating from Giddy Hall School at the top of her class, Estelle Smith later returned to personally assist Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds, principal and teacher of her elementary school. She was already familiar with the constant ringing of the school bell and the sudden ghostly horn of the Long Pond Sugar Factory calling out to its employees. Back home she was used to the long journeys to White Hall, Giddy Hall and Black River Market, now the market was just a stone's throw away.
