in this book, the main character who is called Charlie and writes in a diary which he calls "friend". In the book, Charlie goes through a lot of ups and downs. He seems to think a lot about things around him and has an inquisitive way of thinking. Charlie also finds friends in the book, and they have many different perspectives. By getting to know his friends, he also gets to know himself. He experiences physical sensations as well as emotional sensations. Like in the book, he has feelings for his friend Sam, even though he likes her and she has a boyfriend, he will always love her. The physical sensations are probably from Charlie's time in the Rocky Horror series and they have a role when Rocky and Janet were in their underwear and Charlie had an erection. Charlie also explains to the reader how, around his birthday, he seems to fall into a state of erection. deep dark place that scares him and he can no longer seem anything at a certain moment. As I read more about Charlie, I find out that Charlie was close to his Aunt Helen and that she had died. When Charlie was young, he and his Aunt Helen were always more than family. Charlie is also very intelligent, which is probably why his English teacher Bill. In the book, Bill seems to give Charlie excellent books and with meaning that could probably relate to Charlie. Besides being smart, he has times where he just doesn't know any other things. Overall, the main character, Charlie, reveals his life as a shy but exciting boy. Which also seems to surprise you. As you read, you will get to know Charlie and why he is the way he is. But in the end, the book is great, exciting and beautiful all in one. Part 1 In the first part, Charlie faces the death of his friend... middle of paper...... o be very special and a friend too. And then graduation came and Charlie's brother came to see his sister graduate. After graduation they went to a club and Charlie gave everyone a gift and Sam and Patrick didn't cost anything. Then he starts to cry. Sam Charlie said it was upsetting and she was even afraid to go to university. And then this high school is also overwhelming. On the last day of school, Charlie tells the kid about the locker next to him and says I know. At the end, Sam catches up with Charlie about what happened, such as who Craig (her ex-boyfriend) broke up with her and how Patrick had kissed Charlie. What I learned from this book is that many quiet, shy people have many secrets who made them and that there is nothing wrong with being a wallflower. Also that most people are fun and crazy at the same time.
