What is Waste? Waste is the products of our consumption in our daily life routines such as lunch, work, school and other things we do. From small things like throwing a piece of paper, we produce waste from second to second. After consuming a product, we usually throw away what is left and can no longer be consumed. This leads to the production of waste, substances that are born after being used or consumed by us. At the end of each day we throw away a bag full of garbage, all the materials in it (paper towels, cans, food scraps and many other materials) are all waste. Hospitals produce medical waste such as needles to treat patients. Companies produce paper, plastic, tires, steel, cans, and many other types of solid waste that contribute to pollution that leads to health hazards and other environmental problems. Solid waste is not produced only by households; hospitals and businesses contribute to this. Hospitals throw away bandages, use needles and latex gloves, these items they throw away daily because they cannot be reused for the safety of their patients. Companies also throw away a lot of waste, such as the papers they use, whether for writing or for projects. All these leftovers after consumption are waste produced by our daily actions. Waste disposal methods? New York has three common methods for disposing of our trash. The three methods mention below some of the main ways New York health authorities use to get rid of waste generated by households, businesses, hospitals and many other organizations.1. Although I said earlier that the recession demands a reduction of budgetary law, in this case we are seeing an increase in funds. But we wonder where the funds come from? The answer is simple and it makes me laugh. Deep CUTS to other programs where we can get additional money to fund more other programs. There is no doubt in my mind that the world we live in is in danger because of environmental problems and global warming. Improving sanitation means more workers, a better environment and clean air for all of us.
