Gone Baby Gone directed by Ben Affleck centers on the kidnapping of a four-year-old girl named Amanda. This film is based in Boston in the Dorchester area. Although this film centers around a kidnapping, other crimes are committed. In this film there are abuses of justice, negligence, police corruption, pedophilia, drug addiction and murder. Each of the main characters in this film commits a crime. The main characters of this film are Patrick Kenzie; the private detective, Jack Doyle; the head of the working group on crimes against children, Rémy Bressant; a police officer, Lionel McCready; Helene's brother who is married to Bea McCready and hires Patrick, Helene McCready; Amanda's drug and alcohol-using mother, Corwin Earle; the alleged pedophile and Cheese; the main drug trafficker in the Dorchester area. Patrick Kenzie is the main character in the film and, along with his partner Angie, is tasked with finding Amanda. Throughout the film, Patrick uses unorthodox techniques to try to help him in his mission to find Amanda. Unfortunately, in his quest to find Amanda, Patrick commits numerous crimes. In the film, Patrick's attitude was rebellious. To achieve his goals, Patrick hesitates to resort to drastic measures to find out and get out of serious situations. For example, when Patrick was at the bar trying to find information about Helene, he found himself involved in a situation with the bar owner and some bar patrons. It looked like a fight was going to take place until Patrick threatened the individuals with a gun. Patrick didn't hesitate to kill someone as well. During the film, he shot and killed Corwin Earle, the alleged pedophile.
