  • Essay / The importance of change for younger generations

It's both strange and fascinating how quickly things change. It's a blind reality. Today is totally different from yesterday. Tomorrow will be nothing like today. Things change, you change, I change and the world wakes up again. Some changes amuse you. But some scare you and can even scar you forever. The scar remains and reminds you of the change every time you see it. The change is impeccable. You can't escape it. Running away is like running away from yourself because you are a living example of change. What you are now, your thoughts, your body are all an evolution through changes. It's a reality and we have to accept it anyway. So be positive towards change. It's important to educate our younger generation about these things because sometimes changes can be overwhelming to the point where they handle them extremely poorly. To avoid this type of event, it is important to welcome it with both hands, to prepare for it and to face it with a smile. Say no to plagiarism. A child goes through an emotional roller coaster once he or she hits puberty. Their own body feels like someone else's and they have no idea what to do with their emotions. As a girl, I experienced double pressure. I didn't know how to deal with the blood coming out of me, the breasts growing, the people staring at me. I was becoming a woman and it was new for me. I have changed. I grew up. Was it easy? No. Was it worth it? Absolutely yes. Growing up can seem painful. We all talk about adulthood and its problems. But can you imagine remaining this little child who knows absolutely nothing about life or the world? I'm not enjoying everything we are now. Freedom, lessons, love. The adult world is hard but pleasant. It makes sense to live as an adult because our life is under our own control. Well, not totally, but yes. Growth is painful. Change is painful. But nothing is more painful than being stuck in a place where you don't belong. Can you imagine for a second being a transgender teenager? When you're stuck in someone else's body while thinking like someone completely different. People survive and emerge from this level of change. One thing that must change with these bodily and environmental changes is our mindset. George Bernard Shaw once said, “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” These are golden words that everyone should always remember. There were some absurd beliefs and systems that people followed years ago, like sati, untouchability, etc., which were abolished with time. This is a positive change without which our country would not progress. It’s a time of change and it warms my heart. We began to accept people as they are, respecting each person's decisions and priorities. Our law no longer allows people to discriminate based on caste, gender or sexuality. We cannot become what we aspire to be by remaining as we are. This is why change is important, as important as survival. Works Cited Bhagat, C. (2019). An organized murder. Westland. Crouch, J.
