This implies the need to recruit highly qualified and dedicated employees who can best fit the role of each advertised position in an organization. Employees are recruited at different skill levels, unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled. The key element of any organization is its human resources department, where it brings together the knowledge, skills, creative abilities, talents and aptitudes of the people seeking to be employed within a given organization. Selecting the right staff is crucial to the success of any organization. It is therefore necessary for the recruitment process to be accurate based on the success and performance of the chosen employees because productivity depends on experienced and skilled workers in predicting job performance (Ekuma, 2012). Faced with fierce competition in the global marketplace and issues related to employee branding and candidate attractiveness, organizations need to carefully review their recruitment and selection processes.
